Behavior Modification Packages
Problem Behaviors can be dangerous to dogs and humans. Biting, Aggression, Fear Issues, Anxiety are all difficult problems for your dog and for you! We follow the guidelines and ethics set forth by the AVSAB (American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior), are a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through IAABC, are a certified dog trainer by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers and take seriously the commitment to developing a working modification plans unique to each individual dog.
We do NOT recommend, nor use shock, prong, choke or other punitive devices when working with your dog as the emotional state of an animal cannot be changed using punishment/violence. Aggression CANNOT cure aggression and may suppress the natural warning signs of the dog creating a potential danger no one can live with or around.
BUYER BEWARE OF PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE A DOG “BEHAVIORIST” OR “PSYCHOLOGIST” - ONLY A PhD can be a “Behaviorist”, so if they are not a DOCTOR, they are NOT a “Behaviorist”.
We currently work in conjunction with several area veterinary clinics handling Behavior Modification protocols for their clients using medication and non-medication options.
We offer In-Studio and In-Home Private Consultations. The Consult is a working session. Some minor issues can be handled in one session. For aggression/fear issues, package options are available and at the discretion of the client. CLENTS CHOOSE how often and when they would like to meet-we will NOT force you to buy a package.
