Day Training is a concentrated training program, designed for busy owners. We train your dog for you, in your home, while you are at work (or at home as an observer). As your dog progresses, we coach you on maintaining his performance. 

You will be amazed and delighted at your dog's improvement. We can teach in several sessions what it might take you months to learn in group classes. Your dog benefits by learning from a skilled and experienced dog trainer. You do not need to learn how to be a dog trainer while at the same time trying to teach your dog and easily learn how to maintain your dogs good manners.

All Day Training programs include unlimited email support, and a follow-up visit, within 6 months of beginning training. Each plan is different, designed to fit your unique situation. Ideally suited for training home manners such as Sit Politely for Greeting, Wait at Doorways, Walk Nicely on Leash, and Come When Called, go to you mat and more.

How Does It Work?

After an initial interview to discuss the skills to be taught and design your plan for your dog, the trainer will come to your home 3x a week and meet with you at the end of the week to transfer the skills taught.  Depending on the plan, training could take one week or more.

What training methods are used?

We use dynamic, humane methods that employ the use of operant conditioning, classical conditioning and relationship enhancement education. You learn how to motivate your dog using treats, play, social, and environmental rewards instead of constantly correcting it. This program prohibits techniques that cause pain or fear for the dogs (no choke chains, pinch or shock collars). Many of the training exercises are in the form of games to make training fun.
