K9 Nosework:  A relatively new sport that involves hunting and finding scent.  All dogs love to hunt and find scent-K9 Nosework utilizes this basic instinct with a sport all about the “Find”.  Starting with food, we move thru more difficult obstacles and harder “hides”.  The sport works three levels of odors:  birch, anise and clove and 4 areas of search-box search, interior search, exterior building search, auto search.  A great outlet for any dog.  Each dog works individually, so reactive dogs are welcome in this group.  This sport is growing in the northeast and we expect local trials within the year.  Even without trials, this is a great confidence builder, fun for the dog and as it is a “NO Obedience” zone, any dog can do it!  Current classes include:

Intro to Nosework     Intro to Odor    On the Road    Advanced Nosework

Treibball:  “Push Ball”  or Dog Soccer
