Renée started Let's Speak Dog in 2008, with a goal and dream to build a community for Positive, Science based Instructors looking for a location to offer their services.  Since inception, Let's Speak Dog, Ltd, has grown into the place for  all things dog.  We offer training, behavior modification, dog sports, dog fitness programs, daycare, socialization & boarding.   2018 marks our 10 year anniversary, and as we celebrate our accomplishments, we are excited to announce we are now in our new 10,000 sq ft building on 20 beautiful acres in Plainfield Twp. PA   We now offer the Valley's only positive board & train option, have opened our managed daycare and expanded our location offerings to include our Palmer Trainer Studio.

Renée brings a rich background to her work with dogs, which started with a lifetime of work with animals, work as a veterinary assistant (before there were vet techs!), a degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, Business Management from VIT, Masters work in Education & for her direct training with dogs, a large variety of apprenticeships, continuing education workshops, conference attendance and course work in the exploding field of canine cognition, genetics & learning science.  Renée enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with others volunteering and working with area shelters, mentoring new trainers.

Renée is currently concentrating on the business development of Let's Speak Dog, Ltd. but is also active in the community donating time to a number of Professional Dog Training Organizations & Dog Sport organizations.  She was on the Board of Directors for International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and is a  Mentor for the Principals & Practices of Behavior Consulting for IAABC, active on educational offerings for a number of organizations, mentor trainer for upcoming dog trainers with CATCH Academy & ABC College, a past President for the National Association of Treibball Enthusiasts, WCRL Rally Judge, NATE Judge & CDSP Obedience Judge.

Renée is an active dog sports competitor and her dogs compete in obedience, rally, tracking, agility, dock diving, scent sports, & therapy dogs.  Although Renée's time is limited for dog sports, her dogs have qualified and ranked in Rally & Obedience every year since 2008.  

​

Renée currently lives with 5 golden retrievers,  Julien, Porsche, Savvy, Jocelyn & Phoebe and Degas, the cat, who rules them all.
